OUR History
The Delta Zeta sorority was founded on October 24, 1902 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio by Alfa Lloyd, Mary Collins, Anna Keen, Julia Bishop, Mabelle Minton, and Anne Simmons. These six women are responsible for creating an organization that would create lifelong friendships, support a cause, and make an impact.
The Lambda Gamma chapter of Delta Zeta at Jacksonville State University was founded on March 26, 1977.

OUR PHILANTHROPY
The ladies of Delta Zeta raise awareness for Speech and Hearing disabilities. Our national service project is the The Painted Turtle Camp. We also have national partnerships with The Starkey Hearing Foundation, House Ear Institute, and Gallaudet University.
